As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll work closely with the CEO, GTM Leads, and Sales to generate and qualify high-quality leads, support pipeline growth, and create first-touch engagement with prospective customers. This is a foundational role with clear progression as Arva scales.
The Role
As a BDR, you’ll be on the front line of Arva’s growth engine—introducing our mission and product to fintechs and banks globally, and helping convert interest into qualified sales opportunities.
You will play a key role in:
Building early relationships with prospects
Creating momentum in our outbound and inbound motions
Laying the groundwork for a scalable, repeatable GTM motion
What You’ll Do
Research and identify target companies and stakeholders aligned with our ICP
Source and qualify outbound leads using structured frameworks (e.g. PACTT)
Triage and qualify inbound leads from marketing and partnerships
Engage daily with executives and compliance leaders across fintechs and banks
Create a strong first impression of Arva early in the buying journey
Manage prospecting workflows using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and HubSpot
Book Discovery meetings for the sales team
Consistently meet or exceed activity and monthly Sales Accepted Lead (SAL) targets
Share market feedback and insights with the CEO and GTM team to refine positioning and messaging

About You
You’re curious and empathetic—you genuinely enjoy understanding customer problems
You’re confident communicating live (calls, video, in-person) and open to learning sales skills quickly
You’re proactive and creative in how you approach prospecting and outreach
You enjoy structure and are motivated by improving processes and repeatability
You’re resilient—comfortable with rejection and motivated by progress and wins
You have excellent written and spoken English with a strong sense of tone and messaging
You have 1–2+ years of experience (commercial, operational, academic, or equivalent)
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
Prior experience in sales, BDR/SDR, consulting, or customer-facing roles
Exposure to fintech, compliance, risk, or B2B SaaS
Evidence of high achievement in any domain (academics, sport, entrepreneurship, leadership)
