Arva AI is transforming financial crime intelligence with cutting-edge AI Agents that automate manual human review in AML and compliance. We help financial institutions scale investigations faster, improve consistency, and reduce operational costs by up to 80%.

As a Data Operations Analyst, you’ll sit at the heart of Arva’s product and delivery engine. This is a foundational, entry-level role where you’ll support the quality, structure, and reliability of the data that powers our AI systems and customer outcomes. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams as we scale.

This role is ideal for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and curious about how data, operations, and AI intersect in real-world financial systems.

The Role

As a Data Operations Analyst, you’ll help ensure that Arva’s data pipelines, annotations, and operational processes run smoothly and consistently. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining data quality, supporting investigations workflows, and enabling our AI Agents to perform at their best.

You will help:

  • Maintain high-quality datasets that underpin our AI models

  • Support scalable, repeatable operational processes

  • Surface insights and issues that improve product performance and customer outcomes

What You’ll Do

  • Review, validate, and quality-check structured and unstructured data used in AML and compliance workflows

  • Support data labelling, tagging, and annotation processes following defined guidelines

  • Identify inconsistencies, errors, or edge cases in data and escalate them clearly

  • Track operational metrics related to data quality, throughput, and turnaround times

  • Maintain clear documentation of processes, rules, and decisions

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve tooling and workflows

  • Assist with ad-hoc analysis to support investigations, product improvements, or client needs

  • Help test and validate new product features from a data and operations perspective

  • Continuously suggest improvements to make processes more efficient, accurate, and scalable

Our Core Principles

Deliver Value Fast

Speed starts with clarity. We first understand what value actually means, for the customer, the business, or the system, and then take the shortest credible path to delivering it. We move quickly without cutting corners on quality, security, or trust.

Outcome Obsessed

We obsess over details and take full ownership of wider outcomes, not just tasks. We think like the user, execute with rigor, and validate that every detail works in real conditions. If something falls short, we fix it properly and prevent recurrence, always raising the bar.

Relentless Urgency

We move with urgency because time matters. We prioritise what truly moves the outcome, make decisions with imperfect information, and act decisively. Urgency means focus, momentum, and driving meaningful progress without unnecessary delay.

About You

  • You’re highly detail-oriented and care deeply about accuracy and consistency

  • You enjoy working with data, processes, and systems

  • You’re curious—when something doesn’t look right, you want to understand why

  • You’re comfortable following structured guidelines but also spotting when they need improvement

  • You communicate clearly in writing and are confident asking questions when needed

  • You take ownership of your work and follow tasks through to completion

  • You’re organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently

You likely have 0–2 years of experience, which could come from:

  • An entry-level role

  • Internships or placements

  • University coursework or research

  • Operational, analytical, or compliance-related work

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

  • Exposure to data analysis, operations, compliance, or risk

  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, or basic SQL

  • Interest in fintech, AML, AI, or regulatory technology
